چکیده

This paper proposes a dynamic Bayesian network to represent the cause-and-effect relationships in an industrial supply chain. Based on the Quick Scan, a systematic data analysis and synthesis methodology developed by Naim, Childerhouse, Disney, and Towill (2002). [A supply chain diagnostic methodlogy: Determing the vector of change. Computers and Industrial Engineering, 43, 135–157], a dynamic Bayesian network is employed as a more descriptive mechanism to model the causal relationships in the supply chain. Dynamic Bayesian networks can be utilized as a knowledge base of the reasoning systems where the diagnostic tasks are conducted. We finally solve this reasoning problem with stochastic simulation. q 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Dynamic Competitive Supply Chain Network Design with Price Dependent Demand and Huff Utility Function

This paper develops a two-stage model to consider a franchise/franchisee environment in which supply chains are simultaneously entering the untapped market to produce either identical or highly substitutable products and give franchise to franchisees. Customer demand is elastic, price dependent and customer utility function is based on Huff gravity rule model. The supply chains, in the first st...

A Multi-Objective Fuzzy Approach to Closed-Loop Supply Chain Network Design with Regard to Dynamic Pricing

During the last decade, reverse logistics networks received a considerable attention due to economic importance and environmental regulations and customer awareness. Integration of leading and reverse logistics networks during logistical network design is one of the most important factors in supply chain. In this research, an Integer Linear Programming model is presented to design a multi-layer...

Inventory Management with Dynamic Bayesian Network Software Systems

Inventory management at a single or multiple levels of a supply chain is usually performed with computations such as Economic Order Quantity or Markov Decision Processes. The former makes many unrealistic assumptions and the later requires specialist Operations Research knowledge to implement. Dynamic Bayesian networks provide an alternative framework which is accessible to non-specialist manag...
